The construction is unique and meant to imply the trellis upon which these purple roses climb. I loved designing this! The three different lace patterns found in Estonian stitch dictionaries meld organically and the Gradiance yarns from The Unique Sheep ranging from a medium purpley-rose to a darker purple reflect the colors found in the blossoms of these climbing roses.
