Clint is a turtleneck poncho, knitted from the top down like a raglan sweater, with three different yarns held together, for an ultra-soft and warm finish. It is really quick to knit, once you try it, you’ll be hooked, and you won’t want to take it off. The only solution? Knit lots of them in different colors!

Sizes: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8

• 5 – 6 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 8 – 9 – 9 skeins of Sandnes Garn Børstet alpakka. (Or any bulky yarn).
• 3 – 3 – 3 – 4 – 4 – 4 – 5 – 5 skeins of Drops Kidsilk. (Or any lace yarn).
• 4 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 6 – 6 – 7 – 7 skeins of Drops Brushed alpaca silk. (Or any sport yarn).
Approximately for each yarn: 500 – 600 – 650 – 700 – 800 – 850 – 900 – 950 meters / 547 – 656 – 711 – 765 – 875 – 929 – 984 – 1039 yards.
• Needles: 7 and 8 mm / US 10,5 and 11 circular needles, 80 cm length, or size to meet gauge.

Gauge: 11 sts and 14 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch worked flat and in the round on 8 mm / US 11 needles with the three yarns held together, after blocking.

Approximate chest measurement of the poncho: 100 – 108 – 116 – 124 – 132 – 140 – 148 – 158 cm / 39 ¼ - 42 ½ - 45 ¾ - 48 ¾ - 52 – 55 – 58 ¼ - 62 ¼ inches.

To be worn with 10 to 30 cm / 4 to 11 ¾ inches of positive ease according to the desired fit. Use the approximate chest measurement provided above. I wear a size 3 with approximately 28 cm / 11 inches of positive ease. Or simply make your usual size for my patterns.

Clint est un poncho à col roulé, tricoté de haut en bas comme un pull raglan, avec trois fils différents tenus ensemble, pour un rendu ultra doudou et chaud. Il est très rapide à tricoter, l’essayer c’est l’adopter, et on ne veut plus l’enlever. Seule solution, s’en tricoter plein dans plein de couleurs différentes !

• Aiguilles circulaires n°7 et n° 8 (80 cm recommandés).

Échantillon : tricoté en jersey endroit à plat et en circulaire, avec les aiguilles n°8 et les trois fils tenus ensemble : 11 mailles x 14 rangs pour un carré de 10 cm de côté après blocage léger sans étirer.

Équivalent tour de poitrine estimatif poncho : 100 – 108 – 116 – 124 – 132 – 140 – 148 – 158 cm.

Environ 10 à 30 cm d’aisance positive sont recommandés pour Clint selon le rendu souhaité. Se baser sur le Tour de poitrine estimatif du poncho donné ci-dessus. Je porte une taille 3 avec 28 cm d’aisance positive environ. Ou faire simplement la taille que l’on fait habituellement pour mes patrons.
