This pattern is a PDF printer friendly version and comes in both UK and US crochet terminology.

For the coasters pictured I used an aran weight cotton yarn but you can experiment with a variety of yarns. Dk and 4 ply yarns will work well too. They make great stash busting projects as only a little yarn is needed for each coaster.
