Colin is a cuddly cockatoo bird. Knitted predominantly in stockinette and with garter stitch eyes and cheeks. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cockatoo is knitted in acrylic DK yarns. Most pieces are worked flat (back and forth) on single pointed knitting needles, not in the round. The toes are i-cord tubes worked on the two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 50g in each colour
