Color Tamer Scarf
This scarf was inspired by my desire to find a project that lived up to the potential in a highly variegated skein of Socks That Rock.
Color Tamer combines an easily memorized slip-stitch pattern with an integrated I-cord edging to transform even the wackiest variegated yarn from something spilling out of the circus clown car to a toned-down delight ready to take its place in the center ring.
The scarf starts uses a provisional crochet cast on and an I-cord bind off.
My sample uses Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test for the main color and Snowflake as the neutral contrast color. Make yours with the wildest Socks That Rock colorway you can find!
Errata: All stitches on row 3 with the exception of I-cord edge are slipped wyib. My original pdf contained a typo; the pdf has been corrected as of 10/20/15.
