In this region, there’s a smallish tree that can be seen in gardens and in the woods as well. It grows edible fruits, that are small, round and look a bit spiny, but are soft without a hard peel. The yellow fruits turn red when they mature, and they are hardly bigger than my fingertips. The fruits mature in November - December. The particularity of this tree is that while the fruits mature, the branches are also full of delicate, almost white, tiny bell-shaped flowers. The tree is called corbezzolo. This shawl takes its colors and lace pattern from these little hanging flowers.
Corbezzolo is a triangular shawl knit from one tip down alternating lace panels and garter st sections.
I have included instructions for how to modify the size to be able to use the most of your mini skein set and main color.
