Cornerstone
This aran-weight hat knits up quickly. Make one for all the solid rocks in your life to show them how firm your friendship is. The slip stitch brickwork pattern is a lot easier than real mortaring.
It can be worn with the brim folded up for a neat, hip look, or slouchy like you just don’t care (even if you do).
Sizing
18” (46cm) circumference around body section
9” (23cm) length from cast-on edge to crown
Skills required
Basic stitches (knit, purl, slipped sts)
Decreasing (k2tog, ssk)
This pattern was created exclusively for the k*tog: Oklahoma Tornado Relief eBook and is no longer for sale. Thank you all for supporting the project, which raised money for family aid in Oklahoma City. I hope we have made a small difference to some lives through this.
