Heralding the up-coming Artemis missions, this great tea cosy design celebrates the first women on the moon!

Cosmic Cuppa: Woman on the Moon is a moon‑landing‑themed tea cosy pattern featuring a cratered lunar surface and a retro pink shuttle with a matching flag. The moon is worked in cable stitches to form rounded craters and provide strong insulation. A hidden support inside the top of the cosy smooths the teapot lid hump for a clean, rounded silhouette.

The shuttle is knitted separately and sewn to the moon. Its aquamarine windows echo the reflection of Earth and add a playful retro detail.

Fits a medium teapot holding 6 to 8 cups (around 2 pints).
Made with double‑thickness yarn for extra warmth.
Fits a medium Price & Kensington teapot.

Pattern format: written instructions, no charts.
Construction: worked flat on two needles.
Language: English.
Digital download.

A fun, imaginative project for knitters who enjoy space‑age themes and characterful tea cosies.
