This year my Winter CAL will be a surprise you have to discover every week.

NOTE: This is a Crochet Along so you get a new part of the pattern each week, in a total of 4 weeks.

The CAL will take place in my FB crochet group and there will be a generous discount for all members. Come and join us there. The group is a peaceful one where you can share your progresses, ask for support, or get inspiration.

Cosy Winter CAL is all about a warm and cute blanket, made using Mosaic Crochet Technique. It has small parts of Mosaic Tapestry but you can make them using the regular Mosaic Crochet.

The blanket has 6 parts – 5 for the blanket construction and a last one for the border. There will be 10 different patterns distributed along the first 5 parts of the CAL.

The pattern is written in English (US Terms). It has Spanish and Dutch translations. It has step-by-step written instructions, a mosaic and a border tutorial with photos for every row and steps, charts, and pictures to guide you through all the CAL parts.

All information about materials, size, stitches and pattern notes are in the Introduction File. Also a mosaic tutorial and a border tutorial are available in this file.

Yarn used

Rosários4 Romaria (100% Wool); Dk yarn / 1 ball – 100 g (320 m) / 3.5 oz (349 yds) and a 4mm hook.

The final size of my blanket is 100 cm x 135 cm (39” x 53”), approximately.

Note that your final size will change due to your crochet tension or the yarn you use.

You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
