The new, 2020 version of this pattern has been completely re-worked and re-written, and the sizes have been extended.

I knitted the first version of this sweater for my husband in 2013. He grew a little tired of it a couple of years ago, and passed it on to our son in law, who’s still wearing it, and the sweater still looks good.

The secret to its longevity is in the construction: Crackerjack is knitted from the bottom up in four pieces and seamed for stability and for good-looking, well-fitting sleeves.
