Crochet Waistcoat
by The Leader
This pattern is
available for free.
The materials required for this handsome waist- coat are six balls of D. M. C. Coton Perle No. 3. Use a bone hook of suitable size.
Two rectangular pieces of solid double crochet are worked for the fronts of the waistcoat, and then these are cut into the correct shape by a pattern just as any woven material would be, cut. Care must be taken not to pull any of the threads in the cutting, and then, as quickly as may be, the edges are all secured under the facings and within the seams, so that there is no chance of fraying.
