Notes From the Designer:
Crossaster papposus is the scientific name for the common sunstar, a many-legged starfish. This circular shawl begins with a 12-pointed star motif. Stitches radiate outward in lace designs that froth like ocean waves. If you don’t like to work puff stitches, you can simplify the last section by replacing any puff stitches with double crochet stitches instead.

- Gauge is not crucial to this project, but will affect yardage and size.
