This cuddly crocodile pillow is perfect for squidgy hugs, and is sure to make everyone smile! The crocodile is knit in garter stitch, with simple increases and decreases for shaping.

This pattern is designed specifically for knitting in chenille yarns. Chenille is a cosy soft yarn (usually 100% polyester) that makes super soft and cuddly toys.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the crocodile is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Sirdar Happy Chenille (100% polyester), DK weight (double knitting/light worsted weight), up to 25g in each shade.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, stitch markers and toy safety eyes.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
