Dainty Faery is an elegant wisp of a pullover with a small gather at centre back for added ease.

There is a twisted stitch triangle detail at the neck and also on the cuff – simple adornments for a simple and elegant pullover.

The sample in size 40 is knitted with precisely (or just under) 3 skeins, for that is what I had! (The yardage estimates are higher as our gauge as knitters varies – and all such estimates are calculated with a margin so that you won’t run out of yarn. But you can wing it and you can finish the sleeves before finishing the body in order to make your yarn stretch.)

This is a deep stash knit designed with one of my favourite yarn bases – it is available from several dyers, including Dibadu (Curly Silk), DyeForYarn (MoFluff), FiberPassion and Fyberspates (its new Faery Wings in 50g-skeins).

Dainty Faery was knitted with the original hand-dyed Faery Wings.

My love for Faery Wings stems from back when I fell out of philosophy and back into obsessive knitting. The original Simple Ziggurat was indeed designed for and knitted with this yarn base. Here, I have chosen to knit it into a slightly tighter fabric (as on Verdite) that drapes gorgeously but will also keep its shape well.
