One day, for fun, I decided to combine lace, ruffles, a texture pattern and bobbles all in a single pattern…and it worked! The result is an adorable little set which will keep a baby’s extremities warm, while looking making them look absolutely darling at the same time. You can make a matching bonnet and booties in addition to these scratch mitts.

NOTE: The instructions for these mittens in the self-published booklet produce a shorter mitten than the instructions originally published in Knit Now. (I revised the pattern slightly for the booklet because I felt the original directions I gave made mittens that would be too long.) However, the booklet contains instructions on how to lengthen or shorten the mittens to taste.
