Darling Move Over
A boudoir coat, a jacket that bustles with … a bustle.
A true star of the show - this coat is a one-of-a-kind piece, placing itself centre-stage. Its flowing shell-like detailing is delicate yet not fussy. The clean understated line of the bodice gentle holds the two tiered ‘skirts’ and the flowing abundant sleeves beautifully. This is a coat made to turn heads, a coat made to drape and flow effortlessly on your body.
Simple and elegant, the bodice is made with DOUBLE KISS (British alpaca and Bluefaced Leicester wool) and the bottom of the coat, bustle and sleeves are made with STRATUS (a finer British alpaca and Bluefaced Leicester wool) - worked with lurex for that extra sparkle.
Darling Move Over - commissioned by Knitting Magazine (Sept. 2013)
