Dash Happy cheers with a garter-stitch-colorwork stitch pattern!
Knit in the round from the bottom up.

Finished Size: Circumference 18½ inches/47cm
un-stretched at brim, 20½ in/52 cm body, blocked.
Height from brim:9½ in/ 24.25cm

Size modifications are easy by adjusting gauge, or yarn choices. A looser gauge and/or thicker yarn will make a larger hat. A tighter gauge and/or thinner yarn will make a smaller hat.

Gauge 10.5 sts x 13.5 rnds = 2” 5cm in stitch pattern using larger circular needles.
Yarn Kenzi by Hikoo 50%New Zealand Merino, 25%Nylon, 10%Angora, 5%Silk; 160ys 146m/50g, MC1009 Oceania (Navy), CC1 1000 Pavlova (Natural), CC21005 Bayberry (Orange); one ball each.

Note about Yarn Amounts: For hat without pompom, you will need about 150yds of MC, and about 50yds each of CC1 and CC2. amounts are generous. A 2” 5cm in diameter pompom requires more yarn. Use whatever you have left of the MC and generous accents of the contrast colors. Remember, the more yarn you use, the denser the pompom.

Needles US 4 3.5 mm & US 6 4.0 mm 16” circ needles,
US 6 4.0 mm double pointed needles (dpns) or preferred needles for knitting a small circumference in the round.
Notions Stitch marker, tapestry needle, 2” 5cm pompom maker.

Have fun! Dash Happy!
