CONSTRUCTION
Pattern begins by knitting left front placket and then right front placket flat. Plackets are joined and put on hold. Next back is picked up from the shoulders and knit to meet the front at underarms. Back and front are joined to work in the round. Collar is picked up and applied with double-knitting. Body continues in the round, switching to color 2. Pocket front is worked flat. Inside of pocket is picked up and knit in the round with body. Body and front pocket are joined before starting bottom double-knit hem.
