Santa will love stuffing gifts into this ornate stocking! There are a lot of colourwork techniques packed into this project to keep you interested: stranded knitting, intarsia, and even a little bit of duplicate stitch. This stocking also uses a “hat heel” construction, which has you working the stocking starting at the heel rather than from the cuff or the toe. The pattern takes advantage of this unique construction to display a snowflake ringing the heel, and a snowy pine tree on the triangular gussets at the sides of the foot. Make Christmas morning fun for years to come!
