Pattern Notes

This pattern is worked in the round from the top down. Rounds are started with a ch 3 as the first dc. This is slightly different than standard patterns but gives a much better result in the Swirling Crossover stitch.

This pattern is written with the option of a shorter or longer hat. The Swirling Crossover pattern expands and collapses easily to fit multiple sizes. The length of the hat will allow you to customize the fit for larger sizes. In addition, the longer hat is better for keeping longer hair up off your neck.

Task #1: Ch 3, dc 11 times in 3rd ch from hook, join with sl st. - 12 dc.
