This beautiful textured baby blanket is one of my most popular knitting patterns.

The textured diamonds run throughout the blanket and are outlined with a simple C2F (Cable 2 Front) and C2B (Cable 2 Back) to make them pop!

Approx 65cms (251/2inches) x 92cms (36inches)
The blanket shown here has been knitted with 100% Cotton DK. Choose any DK (US Light worsted) yarn that works to the tension listed below.

10cms = 22sts
10cms = 30 rows

You will need:
A pair of 4mm (US6) long single pointed knitting needles. (minimum length 40cms), or a fixed circular needle
1 cable needle 4mm (US6)
480 gm of DK yarn (1420yds/1300m)

This diamond cable and garter stitch baby blanket is a beautiful blanket for a baby boy or girl as it looks very special in any colour….. creams and neutral colours, fun brights, softer prettier colours and boyish blues.
