A triangle, neck-down small shawl/scarf originally designed for a handspun yarn. Increases shape it into a slightly flattened triangle that can be worn around your shoulders or wrapped around your neck. It starts with a leafy lace pattern that evolves into a lacier version of itself. The scarf is finished with a edging of leaf-pairs.The pattern is fully charted.

The pattern works best with a fingering weight, wool or wool blend. It is calculated to use 400 metres of fingering weight with the recommended needle size. If you substitute for a different weight yarn or gauge, the yardage requirements may change. The pattern notes include a tip on estimating if you have enough yarn left in the middle of the scarf.

If you want to combine two yarns for this project, the starting part of the scarf is suitable for yarn with small imperfections, and the lacier edging and outer parts will look nice with a more uniform yarn.
