Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!

  • No Code – Full Price = $10.00 CAD
  • PK10 – 10% off = $9.00 CAD
  • PK20 – 20% off = $8.00 CAD
  • PK30 – 30% off = $7.00 CAD

I also offer a Buy 3, Get 1 Free discount! Add any 4 of my patterns to your cart, and use the code BUY3GET1 to get the 4th pattern free! Note: the free pattern will be the lowest priced pattern.

This pattern is for a beautiful shawl with eyelet detailing around the edges and on the three corners. This is a DK version of my original TriforceFadeShawl that is knit holding 2 strands of fingering together! It creates such a lovely marled look, and is perfect for fading!

I designed this to work with a 12 mini yarnvent/countdown calendar, held together with 2 full skeins of another colour! You could easily adapt the fade to work with any number of minis or leftover fingering yarn!! Such a cozy shawl with beautiful colour effects!

Yarn Recommended

MC: 2 full skeins of fingering weight yarn
- The skeins I used were from Akara Yarns (420 yds/115g)

C1 – C12: 12 mini skeins of fingering weight yarn
- The skeins I used were from Brine Dyeworks (92 yds/20g), Explorer Knits and Fibers (80 yds/20g) and The Frosted Stitch (87 yds/20g)

If your skeins have a different yardage, that will still work ok, as I had excess yarn leftover for both my full skeins and minis.

Yardage Recommended

MC: ~730 yds (I used about 200g but the grams/yardage may vary if you use a different base/dyer)

C1 – 12: 65 – 72 yds per mini colour (grams vary depending on the base/dyer)
