They may be extinct, but this flightless bird can live on in your heart (and your house) when you cast on this dodo toy.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dodo is knitted in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Each foot is knitted in one piece for less sewing up, and a photo guide for making the feet to help you is included with the pattern.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm and 4mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4 and 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
For the face and feet, Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour
For the body, Sirdar Snuggly Bunny DK fleece yarn; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% polyester; one 50g/90m skein

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, Toy filling, Buttons for eyes, and a Stitch marker
