Dome Hat
Treat yourself to some special yarn and knit this gorgeous little hat and mitts set, featuring slipped stitches and delicate cables. This hat has been inspired by the Neue Synagoge (‘New Synagogue’) in Berlin. It’s one of the most beautiful buildings I know with its graceful lines and the shimmering domes. So what lay nearer than to turn the pattern of the main dome into a cosy hat for winter?
And because pattern and yarn are so addictive, I just had to add some fingerless mitts, too. The Dome Mitts can be found here.
Sizes: S (M, L) to fit head circumferences of 52 (56, 60)cm / 20.5 (22, 23.5)“.

Materials:
Needles: 3.5mm & 4mm (US sizes 4 & 6) circular needles; 40cm / 16” long, 4mm DPNs (if you prefer DPNs for working small diameters in the round).
