Materials:
Wool Boucle, 26 (28, 29) 1-ounce skeins.
2 yards 1-inch grosgrain ribbon
6 buttons
1 belt buckle
1 yard elastic

Skirt is knit in 2 pieces and seamed at sides. Pleated fabric is achieved with single-stitch ribs, reversed alternately.

Blouse is knit flat starting at back waistline. It divides at neck and front sides are knit to front waistline. Kimono sleeves are knitted at the same time. Undersleeve, underarm, and sides are seamed.

Blouse and skirt are seamed together at waist.

Belt is knit as a 1-inch strip and backed with grosgrain ribbon. Buckle is covered in single crochet.
