Here is something to spice up your wardrobe that is cosy AND stylish! The loop scarf is knit in the round on big needles using mostly knit and purl stiches. It gets that certain something from cleverly dropped stitches. Its size makes it wearable as a scarf, wrap, or even as a hood. The matching hat features super deep ribbing to keep your ears warm, evolving into the drop stitch pattern for the crown.

Size: Loop: circumference: 130cm (51”) unstretched, width: 29cm (11.5”).
Hat for adults with approx. 56cm/22” head circumference.

Skill level: Easy. You can find tutorials for the cast-on and bind-off techniques used on my blog.

Needles: circular needles in sizes 6mm (US size 10) for both scarf and hat, 4mm (US size 6) for the hat.

Yarn: for the loop approx. 5 balls of Lang Yarns Merino+ Superwash, (100% Merino, 90m (98y)/50g) or a similar aran weight yarn. For the hat approx. 107m (117y) of same yarn or approx. 6 balls for both.

Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle, cable needle (for bind-off alternative 1).

Gauge: 15 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10cm/ 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch on 6.0mm (US size 10) needles

Dieser Rundschal ist nicht nur super stylisch, sondern auch noch richtig kuschlig und einfach zu stricken! Er ist auf großen Nadeln in Runden schnell gestrickt und Fallmaschen geben ihm das besondere Etwas. Die passende Mütze hat ein extrabreites Bündchen, das die Ohren schön warm hält und in das Fallmaschenmuster des Schals übergeht.
