Knitters often see dropped stitches as a mistake. Used wisely, dropped stitches can create delicate undulations in otherwise straight knit and purl columns. Like rivulets of water flowing off a roof, Droplet’s pattern of plain and openwork stitches evokes the calming sensation of a gentle rain shower.

Droplet is a triangular shawl worked from tip-to-tip using lace weight yarn held double. At 57” wide and 26.5” deep, it can easily be made larger or smaller.
