Meet the perfect layering sweater for summer. Airy and lightweight, its lacy appearance comes from a fun technique in which you deliberately drop stitches. (This time, it’s not a mistake!) Self-striping cotton yarn provides the color.
Difficulty Easy
Finished Size 37.5 (40.5, 44, 48, 52, 55.5)“ bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 37.5”, modeled with 1.25” of negative ease.
Yarn Plymouth Yarn Pendenza (100% mercerized cotton): #0001 mauve purple mix, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) balls.
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32” circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 17 sts and 24 rows = 4” in patt.
Notes This pullover is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed.
