These knitted fingerless arm warmers will keep you warm during the fall while apple picking, going for a walk, or just sitting out on your front porch. Plus they are a great way to use up sock stash!

Pick a sock yarn in your stash and hold two strands together. Or take a sock yarn and mix it with a thin cashmere (Superior) or a thin mohair . Maybe you have a worsted weight skein in your stash that would make terrific mittens. This is the pattern for you to use a favorite odd skein you have in your stash.

To make the mittens wider add stitches in multiples of four. To make them even longer just make sure you have enough yardage to keep knitting after you complete the cuff.

There is zero increasing or decreasing….a bit if ribbing, some knitting and a tiny bit of working back and forth in rows for the thumb hole.

I look forward to seeing your finished results.
