Dunkeld Slipper Socks
Dunkeld Slipper Socks are worked toe-up with a traditional heel turn. The toe, foot and leg sections of these socks are worked in the round, with the heel and cuffs worked in rows. The pattern is written in the amigurumi style with no slip stitches or chain worked at the end of rounds. Any chains worked at the beginning of any rounds or rows do not count as a stitch. We recommend that you have a stitch marker or contrasting length of wool to mark the beginning of each round.
In several places, a colour change occurs at the end of a round. This occurs on the last yo of the stitch being worked - the last time the yarn is wrapped around the hook before pulling through the remaining loops on the hook.
The foot length is adjustable - it is noted in the pattern where you can adjust the to your desired length.
