These boot cuffs are great quick knit gifts or stocking stuffers. They’re also great for learning magic loop. The boot cuffs knit up super fast and easily. The pattern is very brief, but you can find the full step-by-step video tutorial here.

Skill level: advanced beginner, having a basic understanding of knits vs purls and having worked a few projects.

SIZING
When slightly stretched out: 10” {25.5 cm} around by 3.5 {9 cm} long.
For a larger circumference cast on more stitches in multiples of 4.

YARN
Worsted (medium #4) weight:
50 yards, {46 meters} for a pair.

Sample uses: I Love This Yarn (100% Acrylic - 355 yards {325 m}/198g} in Linen.

Similar yarns listed at the top of the ravelry page.
I haven’t used them for this project, but they have similar yardage to the sample yarn.

OTHER MATERIALS
Yarn needle & removable stitch marker

NEEDLES
US 7 {4.5 mm} circular needles in 32” {80 cm} length.

Or size needed to match gauge.
You could use DPNs too. The only difference is the distribution of sts on each needle.

GAUGE
Stockinette - Worked in the Round
14.5 sts / 24 rounds = 4″ {10 cm}.
Note: The pattern is worked in 2x2 rib, but the gauge is determined using stockinette. This is because stockinette provides a more consistent reading. Usually if you match gauge in stockinette you will match gauge in the ribbing.
