Stroll along the shore as sunlight shimmers on the water. Gentle waves lap the sand, scribing ephemeral records of their ebb and flow. Knit sideways, the textured stitches of Ebbie ripple from center to sleeve hem, mimicking the wind on the water and the ruffled ridges of dunes.

Construction
- The cardigan is knit sideways from the center out, beginning at the right side with the front band. Stitches are bound off for the back neck and the front band is set aside. Stitches are cast on for the back and the neck is shaped. The front band is moved back to the needle and front and back pieces are joined and knit to the side seam. Stitches are bound off for the side seam and the underarm is shaped for a curved edge, and the sleeve is worked to the cuff. Stitches are picked up from the right side for the left back, then stitches are cast on for the left front band and joined with the left back. The remainder of the left side is worked as for the right side. After blocking, neckbands are seamed together and then sewn to the back neck, and sides and sleeve seams are sewn. Cuff is folded to the inside and sewn.
- The length of the body may be adjusted by casting on extra stitches.
