Worked top-down in the round, seamlessly, from the neckline to the hem, Ebbs & Flows is a raglan construction sweater designed with a high-hip finished body length & long sleeves. This design features mosaic (slipstitch) colorwork designs before the hem and sleeve cuffs. There are two options for the contrast sleeve cuffs: Herringbone stitch or Twisted Ribbing.

Ebbs & Flows is knit primarily in the round, with the exception for German short rows incorporated below the neckline, for a more
comfortable fit.

Suggested Needles & Notions
Needle sizes listed are suggestions. Use
sizes necessary to achieve specified gauge.

• Needle A - US 8 / 5 mm, 16” & 32” / 40 & 80 cm (or longer) circular needles or size needed for Stockinette Stitch gauge; DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Body and Sleeves)

• Needle B - US 7 / 4.5 mm or one size smaller than Needle A, 16” & 32” / 40 & 80 cm (or longer) circular needles; DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Hem and Collar)

• Needle C - US 10.5 / 6.5 mm or two to three sizes larger than Needle A (as needed to achieve Herringbone Stitch gauge), DPNs
or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Herringbone Sleeve Cuff)

Note! I suggest interchangeable needles for Herringbone Stitch, to enable you to use a smaller size left-hand needle, which will
not affect the gauge but will make the Herringbone Stitch easier to work.

• Needle D - US 6 / 4 mm, DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Alternate Cuff Option)

• Distinct BOR marker + 3 additional markers
• removeable progress markers
• Scrap yarn or stitch holders to hold sts
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Blocking mat and pins
