“Elbrus” winter set is a warm lightweight duo made of scarf and a slouchy hat.

It is knitted in a sport weight yarn in allover lace and rib patterns. The hat features also an attractive detail on the brim.

The sample shown uses beautiful yarn “Kitten” (65%cashmere/35%silk ) from Tess Designer Yarns. (Madelinetosh Pashmina would be a great substitution).
The set uses 3 skeins of “Kitten” about 975yards, hat requires under 1 skein (about 230 yards) and the 80” long scarf 2 full skeins). For those who like shorter scarf option 2 skeins will be plenty.
The scarf can also be knitted in a form of a cowl and the hat size is very easily adjustable (instructions are given).

The pattern is written and the lace/rib pattern also charted.

“Elbrus” is very simple and enjoyable to knit, perfect for knitters who would like to try lace knitting for the first time,
It is also interesting enough for more advanced knitters.

“Elbrus” will keep your head warm and cozy yet very stylish during cold winter months!
