Elysium is a dwelling place of perfect happiness for the soul and also an area in the northern hemisphere of Mars. Will angels be found there?

I have designed my own angelic shawl for this pattern. It is a triangular, asymmetric shawl, worked sideways in one piece. The angel motives are worked on a background of reverse stockinette.

The pattern is written for one size only, but the size is adaptable by working fewer or more repeats of some of the charts.

The sample shawl shown here is made with approx. 870 yd (800 m) of fingering weight yarn and measures 37.5” or 95 cm wide and
55” or 140 cm long after blocking.
