Emerson
The body of Emerson is worked flat in pieces form the bottom up. Sleeves are worked in the round to the armholes and then back and forth to shape the sleeve cap. Once complete, the pieces are seamed and stitches are picked up to work the collar.

GAUGE
20 sts and 21 rows = 4” in stranded colorwork on larger needles, after blocking.
18 sts and 22 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles, after blocking.
It is imperative you check gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
