En Fuego Shawl
The name for this shawl was conceived before it was even knit! As I was showing my swatches to my husband, I commented on how the pattern reminded me of a potbelly or wood burning stove with plumes of smoke rising out. His reply? Why not name it En Fuego Shawl.
This is a top down half square shawl with both chart and written directions.

Lace weight: Jade Sapphire Lacey Lamb 60g; 825 yds/754 m (1 skein); color 225 (red) OR 700-750 yds (640-686 m) lace weight yarn
Fingering weight: Knit Picks Gloss Fingering 50 g; 220 yds/201 m (2 skeins); color Bordeaux OR 440-500 yds (420-458 m) fingering weight yarn
Needles:
Lace weight: US 4 (3.5 mm)
Fingering weight: US 6 (4.0 mm)
Finished Dimensions:
Lace: 66”/167.6 cm wide and 31”/78.7 cm long at center points, after blocking
Fingering: 54”/137.2 cm wide and 23”/58.4 cm long at center points, after blocking
