Entwine Shawl
This pretty triangular shawl is reversible and uses an exciting and unusual technique: interlocking crochet. Interlocking crochet is like two filet crochet meshes, worked at the same time, through each other, to create a reversible fabric with intricate geometric designs. You can find tutorials for this technique here.
The pattern name comes from the idea of the two meshes interlocking and the looping neck edge that looks like vines.

Size can be altered by adjusting the foundation chain, instructions given in pattern.
Materials
2 x 100g skein Fyberspates Vivacious 4ply (4ply, 100% superwash merino wool, 365m/399yds/100g) in two contrasting colours, one skein of each.

5mm hook (US H)
1 removable stitch marker

Tension
9 sts and 8 rows in filet crochet to 10cm/4in using 5mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension)

Construction
Starting from the longest edge, decreases are worked in pattern along the neck edge to form a triangle.
This pattern is written in standard UK crochet terminology. It is not charted as the technique does not lend itself well to charting but the pattern includes photo guidance for each section.
