Escher Cowl
The unique Escher design creates a gentle visual movement that flows as effortlessly as the fabric created using soft fingering weight yarn. It’s sized to allow it to be worn as an around-the-neck cowl or up around the head as a hood. A simple lace border frames the graphic design at the top and bottom of the cowl.
Requires 1 skein in each color of Stroll fingering yarn, making it a nice way to use single skeins of yarn from your stash!
The pattern is an easy stranded knit because:
- The stitches are evenly distributed in color across the round (same color dark and light stitches), making tensions control a bit easier. (See the YouTube video below for demonstation.)
- Float management is not needed and makes a smoother fabric and also uses less yarn (not more than 4 stitches of the same color in a series).
New! See these YouTube videos that demonstrate how to tension both yarns from the left index finger, with separation between the yarns.
