The pattern is an easy shell stitch for the body of the blanket and larger shell pattern for the border.
The pattern is very versatile and can be made larger too!
I used a worsted weight yarn for this blanket that was vintage…you can use any worsted weight yarn and it will turn out great!
Since I used vintage yarn that was packaged in bulk ( a 1 lb bag) , I’m estimating the amount of yarn needed, I think 2-3 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver would be enough for this blanket.
