Eyre
When designing the garments for the Cricket Collection, we considered the nature of the yarn: the woolen spun, single ply authentic Donegal tweed blooms and softens after blocking and the tweedy nubs add color and texture that looks stunning in stockinette and slightly softens the stitch definition when knit in colorwork or lace.
The end result of our efforts is a six piece collection with modern details and fit paired with classic techniques. We hope you enjoy it!
Eyre is a modern lace yoke pullover. Designed with oversized styling, it is intended to be worn with generous positive ease.
The body and sleeves are worked separately in the round from the bottom up, then joined for working the yoke in the round to the neck edge. Short rows are worked at the start of the yoke to raise the back neck.
