Short-sleeved Fair Isle jumper with flower pattern from Bestway leaflet 1945.

Uses 6 oz. of light green wool for background, 1 oz each of emerald, blue and yellow for leaves and flowers, and 1/2 oz tan for “soil” stripes.

Tension 8 sts/inch in stranded pattern on UK 10 needles. UK 12 needles are used for the ribbing and a No. 13 crochet hook for the button closure on the left shoulder.

Knit in two-colour stranded technique from the bottom up in pieces and seamed. Has detailed written-out instructions and a small pattern chart.

Finished measurements: bust 34 inches, length 19 inches, sleeve 5.5 inches long.
