Tension:
Over the Fair Isle pattern, 8 stitches to 1 inch in width and 25 rows to 3 inches in depth, after pressing.

Materials:
Of W. B. Melody Knittings 3-ply, allow 4 ozs. of white, 2 ozs. of fawn, and 1 oz each of blue, maroon, yellow, green and rose pink; one pair each of No. 12 and No. 9 knitting needles; 4 press studs.

Needles are old UK sizes. UK 12 = 2.75 mm / US 2 - UK 9 = 3.75 mm / US 5.
