A whisper of lace, a shimmer of light, Fairy Kiss is a delicate, airy scarf worked in slip-stitch lace that mimics blooming petals and dappled woodland shade. Don’t let the intricate look fool you: this design uses simple techniques to create floral texture and openwork, making it surprisingly approachable and endlessly enchanting on the needles.

• Choose yarns that are single-ply or loosely plied for better drape. Blends with silk, bamboo, or Tencel will also enhance the drape and fluidity of the fabric.

• The scarf is a rectangular shape, knitted from one end to another on a bias.

• The size of the scarf is easy to adjust. Cast on more or fewer stitches to adjust the width, work more or fewer repeats to change the length.

• The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or charts.
