Fake Lace Poncho
This poncho is created with a strand from each yarn held together throughout the entire piece. You could substitute any light fingering weight sock yarn for the Anne (560yds) and a Worsted/DK weight yarn for the Blue Heron yarn (520 yards). The yarn you mix with the sock yarn should have rayon, silk or a fiber that will help the poncho have weight and therefore drape.
This is a rectangle folded in half and sewn together to create a neck opening. Make one for every season - you will look terrific wearing this poncho. xo
PS - The yardage is a total from each skein.
PSS - When worn the poncho falls just below my hip (I am 5’10”). To make this shorter, cast on fewer stitches (keep an odd number). Hope this helps!
