Yarn: Knit Picks Stroll Sock yarn 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon. 50 grams/ 231 yards. 3 colors needed. Color A (Grizzly Heather): 1 skein, Color B (Dove Heather): 2 skeins, Color C (Lost Lake Heather): 2 skeins
Needles: #4 3.5 32 -36 inch circular needle, 2 #4 3.5mm DPNS for making the i-cord (optional)
Notions: Yarn needle to weave in your ends, up to 5 stitch markers, safety pin.
Gauge: 7 to 8 stitches per inch
Size: 17 L by 34 inch circumference
Stitches used: k (knit), p (purl), Pm (place marker, Sm (slip marker), i-cord
Special stitches:
1 Row Buttonhole: Slip the next st from LH to RH needle, * slip 1 more st, pass the first slipped st over the second and off the needles (1 bound off), repeat from * two more times (3 sts bound off in total), then slip the remaining st from RH back to LH needle. Turn work and cast on 3 sts. Turn back.
Notes:
Make sure your floats are no more than 5 stitches wide.
