“Fame” originated as an accessory to my Glow Sweater. My girlfriend started a new magazine geared towards promoting models in the Providence area to the nation. She asked me to design a gold knitted piece for their first issue. This was a dream since I had zero restrictions on the design…it just had to be gold. Tilli Tomas creates amazing yarn and I immediately thought of their silk yarn with glass beads (Rock Star). I designed a boxy sweater and this headwrap to match.

Finally two years later, I am publishing “Fame” which is a knitted head wrap - the perfect anytime accessory. The instructions include three sizes: small, medium and large. A US 9, 16” circular needle is used to create the entire piece which is a combination of ribbing and an easy lace mesh pattern.

The Gold version is made with Rock Star; the green is Terra; the lavender is Magnolia. The Gold version appeared in Fame and Fashion Magazine in 2011
