An update of the classic fisherman’s gansey, this sweater is
suitable for the smallest members of the family. Knit in a soft,
washable cotton blend, it will quickly become everybody’s
favorite. The baby version is worked in fingering weight yarn
to keep the design in scale with small bodies, while the larger
sizes are made in worsted weight.

The Family Ganseys are worked from the bottom up in the
round to the armholes. Simple cables and texture patterns
embellish the yoke for timeless style. The sleeves are worked
in the round from the armholes to the cuffs. For the baby
version, the left shoulder is finished with buttons to make
dressing the little one a breeze.
