Fauvist Cushion Cover
Play with colour just like the Fauvist masters with this bold cushion cover designed by Eléna Leprêtre
Crochet pattern created by me for Arthouse Collection of Simply Crochet Magazine Issue 145.
Digital item (pattern, tutorial) for instant download.
Includes step-by-step instructions to create this crochet cushion cover.
The diagram is created by me after a drawing made by my son and is inspired by a portrait of Lydia Délectorskaya created by Henri Matisse (see photos).
The diagrams can be used to create other articles (see photos of bag) and the motif can be reproduced in 2 colors (see the same bag in black and white on the photos).
The used stitch (waistcoat stitch) imitates Jersey stitch.
The tutorial contains the stitch instructions including the method of changing colors and my personal tips.
The cover is crocheted in spiral .
